How to Apply:
For your High School Application to be considered complete, we must receive all of the following items by the
April 14, 2025 deadline.
OR
Post High-School Students and Adults applying under the Adult Learner Program should contact the Fund to discuss your plans. Your application can then be submitted on a case-by-case basis.
1. Your online application filled out completely, including your essay.
2. Your high school transcript. (Note: St. Helena High School will email your transcript directly to us at popevalleyscholarshipfund@gmail.com. Just go to the main office and request that they send it.
3. Two letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from a teacher or counselor. Please DO NOT submit letters from family members or friends. The letters of recommendation, where possible, should be submitted on institutional stationery or a business or company's official letterhead when possible and emailed to us by the writer of the letter to popevalleyscholarshipfund@gmail.com.
Important reminder: Your completed application package must be received by us on or before the April 14, 2025 deadline. Late applications will not be accepted. Do not put this off until the last minute. You must give the registrar enough time to email your transcript to us and the letter writers time to write your letter and email it to us on or before the April 14, 2025 deadline.

Tips for applicants.
1. It is almost always better to request your letter of recommendation face to face, in person, rather than by email or text.
2. Make sure you add your name to the text field in the "Thank you' line.
3. Either print the memo and give a paper copy to your writers, or with their permission, text or email them the file.

1. Make sure that you re-read your entire application carefully before you send it. This includes careful proofreading of your essay.

Who is Eligible?
To be eligible to receive an award from the Pope Valley Scholarship Fund, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria. These criteria apply to both high-school applicants and adult learner applicants.
1.Applicants must have either attended and/or graduated from the Pope Valley Union Elementary School.
OR
2. Applicants must be establised residents of Pope Valley.
